what size bulbs?

I want to change the driving lamp bulbs in the front fogs as mine seem really dull and yellow light a smokers fingers.

What size bulbs do I need? I also want to add bulbs into the outer chambers of my indicators, where can I get a couple of bulb holders that will fit? Or should I just go down to the scrapyard?

Isn't h3 the fog light bulb?

Its the other bulb for the driving lights I am after, or is that the same?

Sorry - I thought you meant the fogs mate....

....You want the little side light bulbs then - they are 501 bulbs! You can get some nice bright LED upgrades for those....

Richard:yes:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

That's the one! Thanks mate.

I'd buy these as you get 2 x T10 bulb holders with them with a couple of tails attached and these are worth about £7.00 the pair, you can then sell the clear indicators for say £15.00 if you don't want them that is without the holders as we all have bulb holders anyway in our wings, so you'll be no worse off.

I'd just get the 5 smd white T10 bulbs from ebay and also get a £20.00 HID H3 kit for your front fogs, it's a bit of fiddling to fit and there is a How-To but the light they give off mainly at the sides of the road is amazing .

Just bought 4x 5 smd xenon white t10 bulbs off eBay for a fiver, bargain.

Think that I may still have a couple of spare fogs in the shed actually with the bulb holders but am going to have to check to be sure.

Will look into getting some h3 hids though to brighten things up a bit.

Hi mate be aware some 501 bulb holders have 3 lugs to locate and some have 2 I had this problem when I relocated my side lights to the corner lamps .

I can confirm you will struggle very much for the H1 to fit in the front fogs :nono:, it will however fit perfectly for the main beam, H3 is required, the same as for the low beams, so sit back and relax you have ordered correctly .

no worries mate. the old bill will have to catch me first

I did see a conversion on z1 site to convert the standard 35 watt h3 fog light bulb to the 55 watt dipped beam bulb for 10 dollars .it looks like a connector of some sort .
