Can anybody tell me how you remove the ignition barrel from the steering column please. Thought it was going to be a 5 minute job until I saw the 2 fasteners that clamp it to the coumn????

U need to drill the snap bolt heads ... then replace bolts when refitting

i just made a slight indentation with a chisel and it screwed off quite easily as they are not that tight

The easiest way I found is to drill 2 small holes and then use a security fork bit in a screwdriver in the two holes to undo and do back up if need be :)

All sorted now thanks, I drilled a small hole and used an Easy out. Cheers for the advice.
