Just arrived home to find latest Z club magazine on the mat .. complete with your narrative of the top speed day. Nice to see some quality Z32 stuff in there. Don't get me wrong, I still love the other Z's (having had 260/280), but I've not enjoyed any of them as much as this one!!

Nice one for trouncing the Supra:D I'd like to have seen the look on his face as he did his best to catch you up:cool:

Clearly, the best Japanese Sports Car - accept no alternatives:D

Phew, the power of '89 technology!

CheerZ,

John.

Thanks John, I enjoyed writing it up and they even published most of the pics I sent them including the blurred one of me passing the timing gear at 156mph. On top of that they put a picture of my engine bay in on the JAE Billing 2002 article too. I am well chuffed!

Shame about the weather last Sunday as there was another top speed day at Elvington but it was called off later on in the day. Worst news was that the organiser (Chris Mann) wrote his car off near the entrance to the airfield when he hit laying water on a corner and smashed into an oncoming car. He had to climb out of the sunroof as the alarm went off locking the doors and the sunroofs exploded covering him in glass. Two others suffered some car damage in the rain when they ran into each other, again near the entrance to the airfield.

Makes me almost glad that I couldn't make it as the car has a broken gearbox, at least its being paid for by the gearbox company's recon warranty again!

I read the article. Good stuff ;)

Thanks
