Weighing up between the Blitz SBC-id and the Apexi at the moment

Do either of them need a wiring harness, or can they just be wired straight in?

To be honest, I'd suggest that you base your decision on looks. Apexi is very individual - if you love it then you'll love it !

I do really like the Apexi but after seeing Mac's set-up, I think on balance I prefer it - particularly where Mac has located his.

I kinda like both, although I did hear about screen failures on the Apexi units, so that has put me off a bit.

Macca - when you say it comes with a fitting kit, is that Zed specific, or just a universal wiring harness for any car type?

Ho hum, time to start spending again then!!

You will need some extra pipe and a couple of T connectors whichever kit you go for as they only come with bits for a single turbo car.

Is it the Apexi that doesn't have a warranty?!

Not sure on that one, so I think I'll look into it :(

Andy, when you say wiring, there is only one ig live, and one earth to connect,It all just clips together;)

You will need 2 mote Ts and a little more silicone hose.

Ahh, I see.

Only questioned it becuase I looked at the HKS EVC5, but it needed an additional wiring harness on top of the price of the unit itself.

Think I'll go for the Blitz jobbies then :D

yep, them's the ones for me!!

Cheers Iain:D

Hope you don't mind me asking Mac 1, but how much did all those mods set you back? And how much power are you pushing out? It's an awesome Zed, by the way!!
