To go along with my new front end, I was wanting to black out the indicator/side lights to give it the black moustache type thing like Andy's was

 

 

 

Using the search function I came across some old threads relating to tinting the lights, and some talk from Si about UK spec standard tinted corners, and of course these bad boys http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?167638-Tinted-Indicators-Back-up-for-sale-!!!&highlight=tinted+indicators

 

looking about ebay and from a previous conversation with Tony B I found these ones

But they look to come in a bundle with the other lights, and I have no intention of changing my rear's or them hideous side repeaters. I've messaged the bloke, hoping he'll sell me the darker indicators separately, just waiting for a reply.

 

But I wouldn't mind having a go myself, just not sure what works best, film or spray?

 

Currently I've got the crystal clears to have a go on, and I'm pretty sure I've got an original set with the fried eggs stashed in my loft somewhere.
