Thanks for the info mate, I didn't know that. I always thought they were better than jubilee clips. But I can't deny that with the jubilee clip not having changed since they were invented years and years ago, they must be more than up to the job. I think the biggest problem is that a lot of people just reuse old rusty ones that are past their best. I'm guilty of that (not on the zed though!) and I've also tightened them to far and broken them.

jubilee make a high torque version as well which can tightened to 17nm which is a fer nominal amount

id trim the engine side and it will correct the angle on the rad side only out a small amount although pics are deceiving and put new clips on :)

guys i keep genuine jubilee clips on the shelf would you like me to start compiling kits for you so you get the correct sizes for what you want ?

I have Samco, no bits of extra stainless or anything. Nice, quality single piece, end-to-end with the minimum number of joints possible.

That's be a good idea but I guess it would depend on whether you are/were as cheap as the likes of a local store really mate.

only if they sell genuine jubilee clips not generic ones that look like them as those are the cause of most boost and water leaks as they arnt the real thing and are cheap and well not suited to cars in general if im honest
