I couldn't make this years to Barcelona due to work commitments but luckily enough I have booked my team onto next years outing. The same organizers have arranged for us to do a different route next year however, starting in Bruges and finishing in Prague.

This time due to a smaller team we have decided to go for a smaller vehicle (needed a 7 seater last time) and this is the tool for the job:

 

Its a 1994 BMW 325 TDS, 6 CYL diesel engine with 283,000 miles on the clock and rising! Runs like a watch and drives beautifully. All for the modest sum of £200 and came with 10 months MOT and a trickle of TAX. I'm going to use it as my daily driver until we start modifying/painting it ready for the rally that starts May 2014.

Are we a TD or a TDS? Difference IIRC being the inclusion of an intercooler on the TDS which gave an extra 20bp or so over the TD

There is no intercooler so it must be a TD, thought it was a TDS as it states TDS on the Hpi. All I do know is that it makes a lovely noise but is slow as ****.

Haha contemporary tests of the tds was that it was nearly as fast as the 325i in every day use. If its that slow it must be a td... Do y think its running right? Shouldn't be that bad! Same engine as p38 diesel and omega although I'm sure you knew that!

these are very easily tuned, you can get them to180 bhp without too much hassle.
