Getting one of these soon to help stop me smoking so much, but dont know which one to get as now theres so many. Seen one in BP petrol station for £20 which i was just about to buy but then i saw one on ebay for £10 which looks exactly the same but different. So, if you have got one, please tell me what you have and whcty its like to use.

Thanks

The one you have pictured is probably the best, ive got one of the electric fags, that look like a fag and its ok, but still wasnt allowed to use it on a plane.

The one above you can get different flavors and strengths, so will be more usable for your needs.

My other half uses these and hasn't smoked since the day he started. He has quite a collection now of different sizes of liquid holders and strength of battery depending on what he's doing. Also he mixes the liquid to make different flavours ie fruit and vanilla to make them taste better

Ref to price, whatever one you get it will be cheaper in the ling run than buying cigs lol, I was spending nearly £60 a week on fags, i now smoke roll ups, but only now spend just over £10 a week. Its not the smoking necessarily i wanted to stop but the financial outlay compared to the costs abroad. Ill be damned if im giving the government my hard earned twice lol

I have been using Skycig for nearly 2 months now & not touched a regular cig since:

I got the freedom kit:

freedom_kit_pic.jpg

the case has a built in battery that gives the batteries for the cig around 5 charges so you are never out of charge which was a good selling point for me - once the battery is dead you just swap it for the next one, click the flat battery into the charging port in the case & it is ready to go next time around! also has places to store spare refils.

Really pleased with it & dont think I will ever smoke again! Vaping is the way forward!! :D

Thanks for the replies.

The ones which look like normal ciggies look like they will be too expensive. Im gonna go for the fruit flavour liquid ones. Only a tenner on ebay with a liquid so will start with that whereas they are £20 at bp garages and £4 a bottle of liquid. See how it goes.

More of a social smoker myself, plus when im driving my lorry i get bored and need something to do.

My other half uses Vivi Nova after trying several different makes. Or for a giggle you could get one of these!!

I've got one of these. Basically you have a battery at the bottom (black tube) an atomiser which is in the middle and the mouth piece at the top. Simply unscrew the mouth pice and pour in your e-liquid, there's thousands of flavours to choose from. Once the liquid is in the atomiser you pop the mouthpiece back on, you press the on button 5 times in quick succession which turns it n. then hold the button down while you take a drag and it smokes exactly the same as a fag. To turn off you press the button 5 times in quick succession.

To charge the battery you unscrew it from the atomiser (it doesn't matter if there is liquid in it, it won't leak. Then screw the charger to the battery and plug it in for between 2 and 4 hours. This should last minimum of a week.

Easy to clean just soak the atomiser in warm water and leave to dry, then refil with your e- liquid.

The small bottles of e-liquid (10ml) is equivalent to 130 cigs and costs around 3 quid on the cheap!

The best ones on the market are a company called liberty flytes

Good luck trying to quit :-)

Essex trains and platforms are banning these also most coffee shops and bars are too not sure why dont see it does any harm its only water vapour.

Thats a disgrace imho, its not like they are those normal ecigs that look like a fag, they dont rememble a fag in anyway shape or form! The government try to get people to quit, we do quit, then get punished again! Madness! Makes you want to start smoking again haha:sailor:

The one you posted is ok to start with, but you will be missing out on so much flavor.

The ones i have are a bit more expensive but a lot better, fully rebuildable rather than having to buy the atomizers if you wish to change flavor or burn out the coils.

The blue one is a KeCig K-100 base with a Igol mini atomizer on top, its fully rebuild able and offers a good flavor and vape, the other is a GGTS clone (bottom half) with a RSST atomizer at the top, again fully rebuildable.

Just after a fresh rebuild, dry fire checking to make sure the coil doesn't have hot spots.

RSST stripped down to its component parts.

As for the E-Liquid, i find

and also

Always best to buy in 30ml as this is the better value for money, also leave it a week before you use it (so buy 2, start using one, leaving the other out the way) when you start the next lot, it should of been sat a week, giving the flavor time to come up to its best.

The Above personal vaporizers, run on 2 types of battery, both giving a full days use, both are telescopic to accommodate both size batteries (batteries can be seen in the above image)

So far, ive gone 9 and a half weeks with out smoking a real ciggy now.

E-Cigarette-Square-Guide.jpg

E-Cig or Electronic Cigarette is an important medical precaution for tobacco smokers. In E-cigarettes, there are no harmful ingredients are exist. They only manufactured for quitting the habit of smoking as well as reducing the dangerous impact of Tobacco on body. They generally contains battery, atomizers and different kinds of flavors. In market, there are several comanies providing such products like: Janty, Totally wicked - eliquid, Evape, Best4ecigs, Ecigzoo etc. They all providing safe and easy to use products with reasonable prices.

Hey,

although I agree with most of what you said, the comments are from the manufactures and not health organisations or studies (since its commonly agreed that they haven't been in use long enough to have a valid study).

Fact:

putting drugs into you body isn't good (if you don't need them).

so the only thing I would say is that this is a less toxic alternative to cigarettes. :)

the internet has heaps on info on them... but never believe totally some that is trying to sell you something. (I need not list the number of cases though history that apply).

As an experienced user of these devices I will warn you of one thing: if you ever go back on the fags you will smoke more than you ever did in the first place because of these devices. I went to Pamplona at the start of July and had my e-cig taken off me by pikey Ryanair so when I got there I bought fags. I now smoke 20 a day after none for about 2 years using an e cig and before the e cig I was on probably about 10 a day.

Not good.

Not strictly true, there is over 70 years worth of studies for the poly-glycol as an inhalant as its the same stuff they use in inhalers.

also might be worth reading up on this as well.

further studies

Well I've been on the skycig's for over a week now, not touched a fag !!!! :)

11 weeks for me wednesday

70 years as a cigarette replacement? with the same chemicals... like I said use at your own risk.. (although I agree it can't be any worse than cigs)

e cigs cant be all bad as the nhs has gave one to my uncle to help stop him smoking after he just suffered from 2 heart attacks at the weekend.
