Hi guys,

I recently aquired the afore mentioned blitz gooddies.

Im wondering if anybody would be able fit it for me, i live near manchester so dont want to travel too far.

However i am wondering if i should bother at all and maybe sell them on, i quite like having turbos at full power anyway, i always let the engine idle for a few mins before switching off anyhow.

Any Advice, pro's and cons please would be much appreciated.

All the plug and play wiring is there but i would need to get the hoses to run too and from the solonoid.

you say you have had the turbos at full power bud. Has it a boost controller already. If not, you haven't felt the full potential of the standard turbo. Its only a few hoses etc. Just search and all will be come apparent.

The tubing doesnt phase me but im crap at electrics so pulling the dash to install it is a big decision for me id rather pay someone who knows what they are doing

I may be wrong, but I dont think you will need to pull the dash. I recently fitted a timer. Just need access below the radio and the panel under the steering wheel. As for the wiring, if,its plug and play, its just a case of pulling apart a connector and fitting the mew "loom" inbetween. Just search on here or google "fitting blitz turbo timer 300zx" you should find some step by step instuctions.

As for the boost Ive not done one yet but will do in the next few weeks. Wiring should be simple probably a bit fiddly getting the tubing through the bulkhead. But I'm sure there will be a existing hole you can take advantage of. Someone will be along to correct if I'm wrong. ;)

The blitz is just a power supply (ignition on) a ground, and a route through the bulkhead to the solenoid, it's easy, then the vacuum piping is straight foreword too!

You just need to make sure you have the correct chip (mapped for the raised boost) so you don't lean out under raised boost.

How would you know?

Open ecu to see if the main chip is soldered to the board or is socketed. It's not definitive but if it's socketed it's had a chip replacement, but if your not sure the safest bet is to get another chip

Mandy i would give 10 bacon buttys to someone to fit this for me !!!, ive also just shredded an alternator belt so cars grounded till i get my full set and cam belt stuff too. :censored:

Does everyone on here work for bacon butty's?

If so I need a job on a pig farm...... I could get the whole car done........lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I wouldnt say the pipe work is easy it took me hours to get the hose on the drivers side acutuator .

I wouldnt say the pipe work is easy it took me hours to get the hose on the drivers side acutuator .

I joined mine to the oem pipe leading off of that one, does the job till I can get mine up in the air

It was boost jetted and chipped at zedworld last year for 14psi i think

Then you should be fine then up to 14 psi, just remember to remove the boost jets upon installation of boost controller

Theres a brass restrictor in that standard piece of pipe coming from actuator i thought as i replaced pipe on passenger side actuator completly having one side with a restrictor in would unbalance the boost settings.Took off oil filter and lower steering uj in the end still a stuggle but managed it.
