Hi everyone :) was looking at my climate control control today and realized that i could not change what vent i wanted to use, i have the model with two fan buttons and not the one with one button for fan speed and one for vent selection. My question is this, can i swap one for the other without having to change all the air box and vents...ext or is it not worth the hassle

Thanks :D

Sounds like you have the series 1 A/C setup. The S2 does as you want but you will need the control pod and AC ECU as well. iirc it's a straight swap with the parts and you don't need to change vents etc..

As Dave said, straight swap of the control pod and the series 2 climate ecu, ( black box to the left of the foot rest, behind centre console) nothing else needs changing

ah awesome thanks i was worried that it i would have to change all the loom and stuff lol ill have to get the parts along with all the bits i need for changing my sized compressor just hope its not ruined the rest of the ac system.

If the compressor has seized, you will need a regas anyway after fitting a new one so you will probably be fine on the rest of the system.

iv got all the stuff to regas it myself, the previous owner said he had the ac comp changed I'm guessing they didn't put any new oil in the system so it just locked up.
