Knock sensor problem

Hi i have some strange problem with knock sensor well my ecu show me code 34 so this mean knock sensor is damaged then i find on web page how get around the problem and clip the resistor in the plug ok i do this and ecu show me code 55 and a was happy Problem solved but when i turn on engine and and stopping then ecu show me again code 34. Som1 know what is the problem?

    Either a bad connection where you have put the resistor in, or a bad cable somewhere on the loom, if it is the cable you can fit the resistor at the ecu end to try it.
