after indstslling headers and a afpr at the weekend i took my zed out last night, and its developed a misfire/ hesitaion at 4K+ rpm, on throttle, if i back off the throttle a bit it stops and revs fine,

i've got to drive it to noel for mapping at the weekend, i dont want to drive too far if its not running right.

its a 95'NA,

also over the weekend had a carbon canister delete, and duel intakes fitted, (did a test run before chaning headers was fine)

base fuel pressure ( which i hope i've stright) is 3.1 kgcm2 with engine running and vacuume disconected, (43psi)

one of the 02 sensors is looking a bit slugish, but is working and changin corectly after about a mile, (r-vit is reading both)

any advise would be great, thanks guys.

just went home to get it and bring it into work, and its fixed now,

checked all the conectors, hoses etc, and then noticed water splash marks on the filters and mafs, so water has been splashing onto the filters slightly...

should have 2 and 2 together really, thanks guys...

id better make somthing to sheild them.

Yeah, mine was getting a little wet (just like splashes and things), not enough to ruin the MAF or give a fault code but when you stick your foot down it would hesitate really badly around 4k mark.

Took ages to diagnose as the natural course of action for everyone was the connectors, TPS, O2 sensors and so on and so forth.

But then when it was dry and the MAF had time to dry off a bit, hay presto, it all works great again
