Japspeed Steering arms

 

has any one used them as need to replace one side as my inner ball joint has play

 

seen some of the generic ones for 30quid .. each but the japspeed ones are 80 pair

 

anyone use ?

The other way to get more steering rake/angle is put special spacers on oryginal rods :

And they cost 25-30 pounds :)

yes they work too but the japspeed arms are slightly different compared to standard ones .. the Inner ball joint is is therther away from the rack over the stock one ..

this all so changes the steering angles when turning left/right

 

its really hard to explain

 

but what it does is give u more steering lock over all but all so Pulls the inner wheel more when turning compared to the other side

Apologies to for reviving an old thread...

 

I've noticed some play in the inner steering arm, (where the rubber boot is) when I have the car in the air and rock the wheel side-to-side. Is a new set of these likely to fix the play in the arms?

But yeah these will stop the play ..and give u some more steering lock

£25 -£30 for 2 washers they made of gold im sure driftworks sell them for a few pounds

yes if your running 19" .. 17>18" u may just touch the inner liner .. but this is when your on Full lock and u will only moving around 3>5mph i'm sure

mmm could do with better turning radius!! i have 18" and they dont touch so i should be ok right :) unless of course im drifting!! :laugh:

if your drifting ... you will not have any wheel arch liners anyways :) no regardless of what wheels u have fitted they be no rubbing
