Just can't believe it, what a shock, feel so gutted with the news, what an amazing manager he's been no one will ever replace him,

Looks like Moyes is a front runner, lets just hope it isn't the start of managers in and out, who ever does replace him has some big ass boots to fill,

David Gill is leaving aswell,

Will we ever be the same without the great man??

I hate football so I don't care.....:tt2:

Although just like any succesful organisation, the first man appointed will probably not make it as he'll have a tough act to follow; and will for ever be compared to his predecessor. Especially when things don't go to plan.....

......The second person in the job is more likely to fair better....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Think positively... Steve Kean and Mark Hughes are both currently looking for work... ;)

You forgot Dean Saunders .

Personally I couldn't give a fig about Man U, anyone in charge of one of the richest clubs in the world is pretty much nailed on to be successful with deep pockets of money to spend, rich clubs prosper in every league throughout the world and it doesn't take much to win games when all you have to do is buy the best and stick them on the pitch and they'll pretty much deliver .

Manchester United were 19th in the Division when Fergie took over and he steered them to be the biggest club in the world....and with that comes the riches!

Fergie has more managerial talent in one of his last remaining hair follicles than any other manager in the premier league and that includes David Moyes

Very true Sir Charles, money doesn't always bring success as Chelsea and city have proved,

United are where they are today thanks to fergie,

Fergie is irreplaceable you'll never get a better longer serving manager again

He's certainly going to be a tough act to follow. I'm suprised Man U didn't try and get his son from Peterborough, but then he is a but crap..lol
