It has been a VERY long time since I was last here. I haven't been visiting forums much in the last couple of years, but starting to browse again. I apologize in advance if you frequent 300ZXclub, aus300zx, or tt.net as you've probably read/seen this already.
Towards the end of last year a very rare 300ZX popped up for sale on the other side of the country. A 200o model, arctic white, twin turbo, 5 speed, version S, slicktop. Sadly it wasn't in original trim & the condition wasn't perfect. That said, I couldn't pass up the opportunity of owning such a rare 300ZX.
This is how she after being delivered via truck, train & boat. Already had a Stillen front, Bomex wing & 17" ADVAN wheels.
The drivers side B-pillar had been damaged and repaired poorly. After a bit of searching I've discovered the vents are from a Nissan GTI-R.
Typical windscreen cowls.
Stock engine.
During the last few months I've been paying attention to the cosmetics. I had the B-pillar repaired properly, new windscreen cowls, weather molds, headlights, also had a paintless dent removalest pay me a visit. Also fitted a larger radiator, Ganador mirrors & fitted some Tein Flex coilovers. I changed out the steering wheel for a Momo, replaced broken clips/switches, removed the aftermarket 3rd brake light and removed the clear tint film from the rear window (b!tch of a job). Lastly a full detail, claybar, polish & wax. She is starting to look the part now.
G'day folks from Aussie land.
