My girlfriend complains that the tv gets interference when my car is driving up the street. What causes this?

I also get a whistling through my speakers in tune to the engine revs.

Is this a power cable too close to an RCA? None resistored spark plugs? It's annoying me now. Thanks, Dan

if it wasn't affecting the tv's in the house i would of said yes ...

sounds like the suppressor on the alternator is not connected or broken or may be just missing

or you just have some bad earth leads ..

you need to check the one on the batt is earthed on the body>engine head>bell housing

and she wants a new TV :D

You really need to get that sorted out.

The TV going funny could be an early warning system for her to clear out her other fancy man before you come home.

Probably a bad earth , I knew a lad on one of the drift forums who was hated in his street as when he turned on his skyline the whole streets TV would go bonkers.
