Godspeed parts

Ive been watching a discussion about the quality of Godspeed parts that has been going on stateside as i remember seeing people raving about the look of their intercoolers over here. Here are some direct quotes as they seem to do suspension components as well.

how much were these?

godspeed makes good suspension parts? this is the first I have heard of that

This is also the first I've EVER heard that Godspeed makes good parts...

This is also the first I've EVER heard that Godspeed makes good parts... (this was posted twice by 2 different people)

Godspeed has good products? sorry had to add to this...

Thats like saying douscheworks makes good injectors

Well its like this, its steel tubing with a few welds and some solid joints. Its too simple of shit just to pay for the name.. So what if i have to grind a little here and beat the shit out of it there it does the same job. I would not how ever buy my injectors from godspeed.. That being said if u notice i said ive been using them with no fail not that they where all that great..(posted by OP)

God Speed is barely advanced enough to make intercoolers... If they had the technology to make injectors, I guarantee you they would be shit. And yes, there is a big difference between cheap ebay suspension parts, and name brand, reputable parts. How they were designed, what kind of conditions they were produced in, what kind of machines they were made with, what kind of welder and welding material they used, how they prep the parts, how they finish the parts, etc... I have had God Speed RUCAs on my Z for about 7 months now, my car has not seen rain in over a year, it is stored in a sealed garage, within 2,000 miles of having them on my car, they were rusted to the point where it was starting to make me feel uneven. And their ball joints are famous for failing. Yes, it does matter who you buy from, it's not just a piece of metal...

So a little bit of research and you start finding out some real opinons on a company and their parts. Just some direction for folks to make a more informed decision on what company to buy their parts from.
