When I was the REO we were always going to do a west coast run, but every time I tried to arrange it you guys went into hiding :). I'm still up for a run down that way but it will have to be next month I aint taxing the Z until all that nasty salt has been washed from the roads.

As it stands the now il pop along will be in the pink del sol but il still make it eventually lol if it's next month I should have the zed as its expected back the first week in may

I reckon best bet would be next month, gives every one a chance organise it. Gotta get the zed done del!!

How many scottish members do we have that have zeds?? Try get as many as possible!!

Was up on Saturday and have told him to push on with it as I get an overtime wage this month so will have the money for it just need to find time to nip to Sandyz to get the replacement light off him

Also if me you Ossian and Jaikai make it there isn't much more of us. Crashcourse? Mikey? And not sure if trev is still in afghan think that's everyone

So possibly 5, there is a guy in livi with one ( he is mates with the parts guy in nissan ) and also not sure if you know whos zed jamesy had for ages but I think that is now finished.

Still 5 aint bad if we can get it. Would be some sight/sound us all rolling into places. Need to sort out a route with decent places for pictures, oh and no speed bumps as I should have the zed slammed by next month!!!!

The west coast run I was refering to was down round about the Ayrshire coast. We have had runs further north (through Glan Coe and back down by Oban) and amased four cars on two occassions and only me on another :). Then had a three day run up around the north west as far as Ullapool with two of us. Five cars out an a run will be pretty good going, you tend to find that more will turn up for a static meeting.

Iv been thinking about getting a few guys to go on a drive on like a sunday or something. I know about 12-15 guys with performance cars, but would be good to get 5 zeds out.

How's about the last weekend in may? Bank holiday weekend. Do you know of any others that aint on this forum who might be interested?

I'm up for a meet but need to get my zed running right, still running like a dog and I gave up towards the end of last year so its just been sitting getting dirty since then. Plan was to get funds together to send it down to Jeff to get sorted and setup for summer.

Mid May would probably be ok for me, I've got the timing belt, water pump etc. to put on but hopefully that shouldn't take too long as I now have the required parts.

All I really need now is the required knowledge to do the job

Last 2 weeks in May are out for me I'm afraid, i'll be somewhere along a 200 mile trek across the Scottish highlands.

Andy sorry would assist with the belts but I'm gonna be tied up for the month

Is this you making up for last year's inactivity then? :sleep1:

Not a problem Robert, I took it to bits - I'm sure that I can put it back together again :hammer::hammer::sweatdrop:

Eeeek.... stripped it down that sounds serious, wish I could get across but i need to get myself sorted out with gear (and fitness) for my travels

Not as bad as it sounds (I hope) - I'm replacing the timing belt, auxiliary belts, water pump and thermostat, the only part that I'm not confident about is getting the timing marks on the timing belt and pulleys matched up correctly.

I've never changed a timing belt on any car before, so I'm a wee bit wary of it

Anyway - a two hundred mile dog walk...........

The poor wee dug will be knackered
