got to say i defo will not be renewing my contract with orange. im currently waiting on a refund of £300.42 which they over charged me on my bills. as my bills are paid by direct debit id never really checked them only when ending my last contract i found that instead of my contract being £15 a month they have been charging me £45. i have now been waiting on a refund for 4 months getting passed from department to department. they aparently have attempted to refund it on 7 occasions now the department that process the refund also do not have a telephone they only comunicate via email. to say i am getting fed up of them is and understatement when i asked to speak to someone higher they said there was no one so i asked if that meant he was running orange that day he said yes he was.

anyone else had problems with them?

I have been with Orange since 1994 and have not really had any issues with them....

......but Vodafone (with whom the company account is with) are fooking awful...!!! And their stupid fooking Star Wars adverts and the dude who ends every commercial with "Power to you" really wind me up....!!!

But back to your problem Del, if you paid by DD, then as well as waiting for Orange to refund you - or at the very least return your calls - contact your bank. There is something called the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme...

Get your bank on the case mate - you'll soon get your money back!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I was with Orange for years, always found them to be over helpfull when I was renewing my contract and then less so when I had a problem. I finally told them where to stick their contract in January and moved to Giffgaff and happy I did so far.

Orange are dog poo when it comes to customer service, they tried to have my mum over three months on the go for Internet, took me two pleasant phone calls and five angry phone calls to finally get her money back, keep plugging away mate. Eventually they have to give you your money back, start talking court and solicitors etc.....

Similar story here, overcharged in June by £387 and finlly got the money back in October after many many frustrating

phone calls.
