Any one have trouble getting the indicator bulb holder in on a jdm car with thicker intercoolers mine are stillen .I moded my original onse drilled hole on the side and put orange bulbs in .But ive just fitted crystal clear front lenses and dont realy want to drill holes in them, was thinking of cutting plug of indicator holder and fitting a 501 small capless holder and using the other small hole on the corner of the unit not sure if this is ok for mot does this count as front facing still thanks taff.

Your ok for any location in the corner housing for indication, on some models, I think it's USDM they're the other way round anyway.

 

You can get some bright orange/yellow 501's so I expect they can be just as bright as the 382's.

 

Your small hole why not make it bigger ?
