car was already warm... drove up the road and back (about 5 or 10 minutes)..

 

when I pulled up I noticed this on the floor.... but it was cold and wasn't there before I left... any thoughts?

 

Oh dear looks like your Heat matrix has got a hole in it ..

I know your pain for the bypass not much room in there. You can get a new primera matrix for fifty quid fits perfectly.

bypass it from the engine on the back of the plenum 5 minute job short 9'inch bit of flexi job done

Out of interest does anyone know if the pipes that connect to the matrix and go through the firewall are available?
