Having broken a drive shaft on my land rover at the weekend ( having too much fun) i took the zed to work today.

 

Parked in a legitimate parking space , handbreak on, in gear

 

A van drives up, reverses into the back of my zed, shunts it forward nearly a meter, scrapes the paint off and damages the rear bumper.

 

Then he drives off ( forward then reverse again) without even stopping to look or leave any details

 

:(

 

Am about to write an email to the company expressing my displeasure

i didnt chase him, pulled off at the next exit and phoned the police

now i need to go to the police station to produce my documents

quite upset as i had been driving my landrover all day and had changed to the zed 5 minutes before

his nice shiney 4x4 would have had a harder time trying to push me off the road if i had been in my defender instead

Your poor zed she really has been in the wars lately, i'd wrap her in bubble wrap :(

There is somthing with navara drivers, one hit me up the back in my z a few years ago!

Thats bad luck Ian! Have you considered a rear bumper from TWINZ seeing as the insurance company will be paying, doesn't look to disimilar from your current one?

this time a big nissan 4x4 took offense to me on a slip road and four times drove into the drivers side , before driving off.

 

interestingly i discovered that a 300zx wing mirror fits exactly into a navara wheel arch

 

and i still havent found anywhere to get a replacement rear bumper from the last time

 

That's bloody infuriating Ian - I hope you got his details and the fooker gets done for leaving the scene of an accident. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the Navara driver mate; I really hope you get everything sorted.

Damn, sorry to hear Ian. Good job you had the CCTV footage. I'd be contacting the police anyway, criminal offence and you have the proof.

:o Replied before seeing your later post about the 4x4. Jeesh, any chance it was on a stretch of road with camera's ?
