Bloody Rust

I feel this may well be the killer.

I have some rust developing under the HICAS unit under the bonnet. I think that in one small area it may have gone all the way through.

Is this repairable? I think it is. Take out the HICAS pump/solinoid, what ever it is clear the rust that is surface and cut out the small part that isnt and patch it with some good metal.

Round that area doesnt look too structural its a fair bit away from the suspention turret.

Any idea people?
