On the way to work this morning i pulled over suddenly to talk to a mate,went off again and the back of the car was do some Craziness, then I found out that the rear tie rod snapped??? or was cut ???

 

please look at the pics and tell me what type of breakage it is? I think its is a snap but i don't know. Reason why is just in case i got some haters in the area.......lol

 

to replace the part all i need is a rear tie rod right?

thats a snap u can see the stress point but looks like its been going for some time as there is rust on half of it

So it's ok to get new tie rods with the adjustable ball joint at the end this time?

Yes agree with Mark, a close up with the fracture line outlined clearly shows it was not cut, a replacement will soon have it sorted, do not drive it until fixed of course.

I called around to day trying to order some parts, was talk to the guy from z centre and he said to replace the rod with the Hicas eliminator.............. is this right?

The steering arms are readily available and an easy job to change, the hicas eliminator on the other hand is a popular way to go but is more involved and more expensive.

 

If your happy with the Hicas system as many owners are, go with the steering arm, however if you have the time and spanner skills to remove the whole system and replace with say a Driftworks eliminator kit you will never need to change rear steering arms again.
