After getting myself a tidy little daily driver im wanting to try tidy it up as good as it can be.

Its in very good condition already but could do with all the swirl marks removing from the paint and could do with a full valet.

Has anyone had this done recently and could give a good guide pricewise to how much it is to have it all cleaned up to being almost as new.

Or maybe prices of the paintwork doing?

Depends what level of 'correction' you want for the paintwork. Get yourself on Detailing World forum and do a search for detailers in your area. It's a good forum and you'll get all the advice you need.

In the middle of giving mine a good going over I have finished clay baring it (Meguiars price about £15) hand polish (Valentine wax about £70) still glass work to do alloys and tyres then move to the inside.But no swirl marks on mine if there was a machine polish would help or a good t cut and polish.

Found a place local to me, but at £239.00 i think i'll do it myself bit at a time.

Have a look on eBay and detailing world there are usually people selling 2nd polishers. There plenty of good write ups on detailing world and suppliers sites about how to get a very good finish, so long as your methodical and carefull. Should be able to get what you need for under £150

Have seen a meguiares detaling pack on ebay for £39.

Thinking of trying some of that.

Used the meguiars stuff before ( infact used to sell it ) and was never totally sold on it. Much prefer poorboys stuff and dodo juice wax. Some of the autoglym stuff is good aswell. Really need to stock up again since the zed is getting painted in a week. Luckily for me my work now sell the poorboys range!!
