Hi, newbee here,

Not sure if this is meant to happen, but when i start my car the HICAS light is always on, is this normal? or is something up? also driving round a bend the other day ( hit pot hole ) made the Anti lock light come on? thats constantly on to now. and everytime i press the brake the "light" symbol flashes, i have checked bulbs and all are working.....

One more thing ive noticed while driving at night, dipped beam is really poor, are the stock bulbs crap? worth buying uprated ones?

Thanks in advance,

leeroy

hi m8 for the hicas light check the power stering fluid and for yhe anti lock check the abs sensors on the calipers may need cleaning

Check again all your tail lights, there are two stop/tails in each top chamber.

If all are good then perhaps one or more are led type and this will make your dash light error.

Make sure a box type thing is present on the R/H side tail light as this is the bulb out sensor/sender.

Replace poor stock bulbs with a H3 55W 4300K, 5000K or 6000K HID kit, a £20.00 kit on ebay will do :cool3:.

Thanks for the quick responce, checked all bulbs, rear of car is all ok, and the box is on the right. front lights all ok too. the only thing i notcied that there was no interior bulb, it had been removed, plus the boot light bulb had also been removed, purchased new bulbs, they all work but wont turn off due the the boot lock not switching the circut off, would that cause the "light" warning sign in the dash? , one more thing is that i think i need a new power steering pump, as i checked the fluid and all seemed in order, but noticed a bend in one of the pipes which i did replace but its still noisy, epsecially when i turn the wheels while idle, possible new pump? or maybe just tighten?
