Front brake discs

Featured Replies

not sure where the best place to get them from is but regarding the grooving and drilling everyone usually has a different idea on it . some say grooves are better and some say drilled are best . and theres quite a few that prefer to go with flat discs . i personally have never seen a super car that hasnt had drilled discs . if porshe , lambo and ferrari go for drilled on their 200mph super cars then thats enough reccomendation for me . i made up templates based on 911 discs and drilled my own . they look far nicer in the rims in my opinion than flat or grooved discs . you do need a decent drilling machine and cobalt drill bits though to attempt it.

heres a pic of mine

My understanding is the holes help disperse heat build up and the grooves shed brake dust and water when it's wet and stop the pads laminating during heavy use
