ign coils

My last post on this seems to have got lost in the switch to the new forum. So 'ere it is again.

When I tested the resistance on my ignition coils i got readings of about 1 to 1.1 ohms. The book says it should be "approx 0.7 ohm". Is that approximate enough? It seems way out to me by 30%.

What is the normal acceptable variance on these things - electrics whizzes please respond. Thanks.

i would have thought that would be ok, a cheap multimeter it not gonna be that accurate, so .3 of an ohm is not that much, unless your using a good quality one.

are they all the same? if so i would say thats a good indication that alls well.
