This is just a reminder that you cannot reply to PM's via email.

 

I think sometimes people get the PM notification through their email with the contents of the PM and

then they hit reply with what they think is going to be their reply but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.:ohmy:

 

Instead all system emails come directly to me via email and depending how great your PM is I either get the misfortune of reading it and reply to tell you of such or it goes straight into my spam system.

 

Not that I enjoy reading your PM's :whistling: but I've usually got other club or work stuff to get on with.:sad:

 

So this is just a wee reminder that unless you want your reply PM coming to me directly please login again

and reply directly via the system and that will ensure that the recipient will get your message.

I have never even considered hitting the reply button on my email notification - always pm replied through the site :cool3:.

It's probably because you can do that with other sites such as eBay or Facebook.

 

Couldn't you make it work? I think that would be good

Could it not be set up to work like ebay or Facebook so it goes to the PM system as Bird said???

Its not something that's inherently built into the features of vbulletin or the plugins we use.
