After the sad demise of my favourite fish, I treated myself to a couple of new tank mates :biggrin: and my shy starfish came out to play!

Be bloody carefull with that male mandarin, feeding them can be a pita unless youve got loads of natural food.

Luckily he's trained onto brine shrimp and mysis but I add live food for them too. Touch wood they are feeding well. Waited till my tank had been established for a couple of years before I got em. Planning to get a bigger tank at some point so I can give them more live rock to forage in

Yes. They are sweet. Spend a lot of time bimbling round the tank together. The little girl was really shy but she's much braver now and comes to the front of the tank much more.

Just keep a watchward eye, my male wouldnt stop hounding the female trying to get her to spawn, she really suffered abd eventually it finished her off.

My daughter and her fiancé have a number of marine tanks now, and wow… I thought the Zed was expensive to run… :)

 

My tank pays for my zed :)
