Hi just double checking here.

Im going to use 10-40w running in oil for at least my first 2 oil changes on the rollers. Ive been advised to use full synthetic nanodrive 10-50w oil after its ran in.

What's the difference between 10-40w stock and 10-50w?

Also 5ltr should be more and enough for a full oil change on the tt shouldn't it?

4ltr is more than enough, it takes 3.0L in the engine and the filling the cooler will probably take another .5l.

10w-40 is a good all-rounder. 10w/15w-50 for 'high' power & track work for example.

 

The 10w-50 basically has a higher viscosity at higher temps. They both have the same viscosity at start-up.

Fuchs pro s 10/50 is a fantastic oil and all i use in my own and customer cars :)
