Saw an ad for the all new Top Quear last night and they said that Jezzer Clarkey San is coming back?!?!?!?!

Ace if he is! Can't wait! :)

yes, on the beeb again, with clarkson! I cant wait, he was top gear. He actually gave an opinion of a car rather than reading a bunch of numbers out like most programs or doing the assesment routine giving it marks out of 10 for praticality, perfoamnce etc.. For him its 'can i get a suitcase in the boot, yes, fantastic!' and 'you dont so much drive the nissan skyline as hang on for dear life' ;)

Cant wait :D

I agree entirely and it will defo make me wanna start watching again.

When Jeremy left the others soon followed and it went west from there never to return.

But now that the main man is making a comeback I am truly excited about watching the all new Top Gear. :)

anyone know if tiff is gonna be on there again too? He is the sideways god :D

Dunno but that program with him(Tiff) driving the Enzo was hilarious.

Especially when the journos were specifically told not to turn the TC off on their lap runs! What's the first thing he does??? LOL :D ACE!

Yeah, it's definitely true, I heard it on the tv last night.

Can't wait either ...

Many have tried to immitate the inimmitable, but they've all failed miserably.

I seem to remember that after his departure, they wheeled out another Clarkson-esque, lofty, curly-top ... in fact, I think his name was Peter May, he tried to copy Jez's style but it just didn't work.

Let's hope we get the full set of Jezzer, Tiff, Quentin and Vicky for a little light relief:D (if you know what I mean) - then perhaps Top Gear will be worth watching again!

BTW, went to a driving day at Millbrook a couple of months ago, and who should turn up in her yellow S2000, but the Vick-ster herself. Seemed like a bit of a snooty cow, as it goes, well, she wouldn't go for the offer of a pint and a packet of crisps:o Shame!

Couldn't deny she was lovely from an ogling standpoint, nonetheless!

Cheers,

John.

Clarkson Returns To BBC TWO’s Top Gear

Jeremy Clarkson is to return to television’s top motoring show - BBC TWO’s Top Gear - as part of a new two year deal with the BBC.

The renewal of his contract will also see him working on other new programmes for the BBC, and exclusive magazine writing for BBC Worldwide’s BBC Top Gear Magazine. He will contribute exclusive road test, features and opinion in addition to the column he has penned since the market-leading magazine was launched in 1993.

Jeremy Clarkson is renowned for his trademark opinionated comments on the motor industry after spending nine years with Top Gear, and returns with his unique mix of expertise and wit when the revamped programme begins a new series later this year.

He says he is looking forward to returning to the motoring show that is now in its 24th year: "The motorist is under attack from all sides, and this gives me the chance to fight back on behalf of all us petrolheads. The BBC is a fantastic organisation and I’ve had 12 very happy years here and I hope there will be many more to come."

Jane Root, Controller of BBC TWO, says: "I’m absolutely delighted. This is great. Jeremy is motoring on television and it’s great to have him back in his rightful place - bigger, bolder and ruder than ever before."

Top Gear has been given a complete review and overhaul since its last series ended in December. As part of this process the new series will be made by a new production team based in London. This also fits in well with Jeremy Clarkson’s other London-based media interests.

Birmingham will continue to play an important role in motoring programmes for the BBC. Wrong Car, Right Car - BBC TWO’s new series currently on air - will play an integral part in the motoring schedule. Presented by Jason Barlow and Dominic Littlewood, Wrong Car, Right Car’s success has resulted in the recomission of another 10 programmes.

Class! Looking forward to it.

Vauxhall banned him from test driving any of their cars ever again, ever remember the bit he did about the Vectra?

Something like...

"I'm sure it has an engine under there but I can't be bothered to look at it!"

He cracks me up.
