lol u know i went to change that .. and i couldn't see it what so ever ... its normally attached to the reinforcing bar it looked like it doesn't have one

but if the relay was faulty it would be on all the time of just off ...

its not a switch ... and not that the boot switch only does the boot light thats not coming on its the main one in the car that is

The boot when open also lights the cabin, the catch is the switch and sometimes the 3 screws need tightening or re adjusting.

enlighten ?

far as I'm aware there isn't an alarm just mobilizer

and if they was sure it wouldn't be wired up to the light wiring

i take it there is no other control box .. mini ecu for the lights then like on other cars

just simple power relay/switch>lights

im pretty sure the timer control unit has an input on the inerior lights . maybe moisture in there as its near the targa pipe by the loud pedal

you wont see Chris's boot light with the install surely?

Yes as its wired to his Sub/amp lights so when its on the hole boot lights up like black Pool illuminations

he has been getting alot of water in car due to crap tagra seals that was supposed to be good

Brill so there is an Mini ECU is that the semi clear box behind the side foot panel right of the fuse box ?

Yes TCU in the footwell next to the fuel pump relay. In some models the TCU is responsible for interior light dimming/delay, so its possible a track burnt on the board could be causing the issue.

enlighten ?

the reason why i said it was my old alarm had a courtesy light feed wire to turn the light on when you opened the car with the fob

we replaced all relays and control unit but the problem still remained .. however we did find the problem in the end ..

at the time fitting all chris lights all was working unill this problem

found out later that he tuck the Normal Bulb out of the center light

as it wasn't "blue" well i kinda wasn't told this

well it turns out that the control unit needs to sense some small Load

from the internal lights ..

as all lights have been changed to LED bar that one

so just to recap .. use normal bulbs or LED that are load/volt type
