Not sure if this has been done here before (I've only been around a little while) but I thought it could be a bit of fun.

So let's see....

Let's say you came into a 'considerable sum' of money (inheritance lottery whatever) and you had a nice pot of money left over spare to spend on your Zed after the missus had satiated herself with shoes and chocolate.... then what would you do if the cost was not of importance... and what might it cost

Let your imagination and desires run amock

Now Now - I meant what upgrades/modifications would you do.

Swapping the entire car is not fair game for the spirit of this thread lol

You need to be a little more creative with something that is practical to do..... or at least technically possible

There's not a lot left to change to be honest, but maybe an engine swap from an AMS ALPHA 12 R35 GTR (is an engine swap allowed?)

Dodge Viper V10 engine would do it for me :)

Well I would build the ultimate NA slicktop and I know two people on here would build the ultimate TT slicktop and then go "time Attacking" in them..........................................................................................................................................................

Well actually we have already spent lots of money and none of us are finished yet.

Earn it... spend it... earn some more... spend that ... etc etc:biggrin::biggrin:

Not meaning to go off topic but I believe it was up for sale a year or so back, I can't remember how much but I think it was £80k (could be wrong though)

i would make the car look as stock as possible and stick the engine from a veyron in it. that would surprise a few people :ninja:

In a Z32 chassis of course...

I'd have a fully built and stroked VK56DE engine installed:thumbup1:

That'd do, if it's good enough for the GT1 R35's it'll be enough for pottering along to the shops

couldnt help myself Pete  im leading this thread well away from topic sorry guys.digress please. but if money was no object, something Nissan V8, maybe high compression or big blowers .

i would re body the car completely in carbon on a custom space frame , ship it over to Junauto and let them send it back when it has around 1200 bhp to play with or send the car to Chip foose and ask him to squeeze the underpinnings , engine drive train etc of a new GTR into the body shell but let him do his thing with the bodywork and paint.....the man is a genious

I would just get a new hamster for my engine and tighten the rubber band, if there was any change maybe a new reel of duct tape to boot!!

money no object would be to try and fit the engine and running gear froim and r35 GTR, wouls probably have to fit some sort of wide arch kit to accomodate the track

1) Take a TT manual (pref SWB slicktop but anything really) down to the last nut and bolt, clean, repaint, replace every dodgy connector, loom, seal and put it back together as stock as a very stock thing (allowable S2 PTU for S1, S1 a/c control replace S6, factory halogens, S6 brakes etc etc). Mid grey or dark silver (S6)or that burgundy red. Underseal, wrap, polish, drool.

2) That ASC hardtop conversion referenced by Gary above

3) Stillen racecar - still makes my heart skip a beat everytime

This year, I'll just settle for being able to afford another tankfull!

Some great contributions there

After overnight consideration, I think I would install something like this in the passenger seat, and her mocha-coloured half sisters on the rear one for good measure (and a little variety) lol

PS failing that I love that hardtop convertable!! wow

And it would probably go down better with the missus.....

I'd change my green paint for blue.. replace every silly little part made from rubber...I'd work ram-air alongside a nitrous injection ( no turbo's) ...change the LWB to a SWB (shortening the whole vehicle :-) )... redesign the boot so it can hold more than a rucksack...titanium exhaust, C-Fibre panels & bumpers & prop & interior...gullwing doors...reversing camera with sights... the front screen trickery from a focus cos bouy they demist & defrost quick...swap wheels for some that cannot be put on backwards...and somehow lighten everything everything everything until 400Kg less... taller 1st gear and closer ratio's... widen the track so the wheels look right... galvanise all carbon steel parts before refitting , including the shell before they paint it.
