Quick story of what just happend.

Whilst being on here, realise i need some bread for my lunch tomorrow, get in car and drive to local shop.

Get bread, get stella ,im behind some woman, im looking at the lottery scratch card display. Woman in front, pays for her stuff and asks for a number 6 scratch card, pays for her stuff and moves to the side, i pay for bread and stella and also ask for a no 6 card. i scratch mine off at the till, unaware that the woman is doing the same

£25 winner, i say to the staff "good stuff, £25, that will do" then i hear the woman to my right "om my god, ive got £1000."

i get my cash and am well chuffed, and yep she has won £1000, i wish i had got to the shop just 10 seconds earlier.

Some you win £25, some you win £1000.

 

unlucky stu! £25 aint nad though, more than I feckin win on them!

Oooooh so close.....

 

.....but then that woman could have stepped out of the shop and been knocked down by a bus. Which would have happened to you, if you were 10 seconds earlier.......!!!! But still, you have £25 you never would have otherwise had, so it's still good mate

if i hadnt got stuck behind a bus today id have been in a devictating crash(a red clio came 5meters in front of me on two wheels n rolled into the bushes n trees) 25 quid int bad for a 10 sec hold up

Could have been even worse... Arrives 10s later, get clobbered by over excited woman who wins a grand, Stella goes flying, splits open...day ruined !!! Least you got enough for petrol home!
