Throttle body size?

I'm pretty new to this forum and new to nissan z32's. My last car was an 86 Celica ST162, the front wheel drive version of the Celica Turbo Alltrac. Anyways, I just bought a 90 non-turbo z32 and was wondering if the stock throttle bodies are a decent size for sufficient flow. I know that on the older VG30E engines, from the older Z, a throttle body from a s13 or s14 (240sx) is a significant upgrade.

I currently do not have a caliper to measure the bore of the VG30DE throttle body but I do know for a fact that my 2.0 3SGE Celica engine has a larger T.B.

Does anyone have the size of a N/A z32 T.B.? Would the VG30DE benifit from a larger T.B. or does flow well as is? Has anyone dynoed a z32 with stock T.B. vs. an oversized T.B.? Is it possible to upgrade to an S14 T.B. in the newer VG30DE? If so I am aware that minor mods are required to fit a 240sx T.B.

My questions apply to a internally stock VG30DE with bolt on mods and no cams(headers, intake, exhaust, ECU). Thanks for looking.

I apologize if this is a repeated topic. I haven't had much time to surf through the forums.

The Celica TB will be bigger as it is flowing for 4 cylinders of 2 litres.

A Z TB is basically supplying 3 cylinders and 1.5 litres per bank - that'll be why there's 2 of 'em then wink.gif
