Sold a set of alloys over a month ago on Ebay seller pays I dispatch, item was as described "needs refurb to make new"along with "no refunds" a month down the line I get an email opening a case "item not as described" obviously I disputed this and the guy was a complete idiot saying there was a lot of damage to which I know there wasnt.

Ebay went in his favour even though i stated no refunds and after a months usage where he could have damaged the item. Very annoyed at the lack of support for sellers.

Hi Mate,

No he has returned them but one of the tyres is hanging off. Ive just found out I can appeal the decision but not building hopes up

that sucks... surely you have before pics ( I know hard to prove if you don't have a time ref with them) .

I would appeal anyway... you never know you might win.

best of luck

Cheers, i only have two pictures one of one wheel and one with the wheels on the car itself, going to appeal to see what Ebay say in the next 48hrs.

I don't mean to be brutal but just put it down to experience, yes there are jerks out there we all know this is the case, you have the goods back so you'll just have to put them back on - you never know you may get more, make sure you get your selling fees back.

About two years ago I sold something for lets say £100.00, two days after delivery was made the seller complained to ebay, payment was put on hold, he says the item didn't work, I disputed but couldn't 100% prove, my guess is seller broke it, I just asked for the item to be returned for a full refund.

I posted comments in the dispute notes, he posted nothing and never returned the item.......this is the good bit - ebay just gave him the money back from me and he kept the item, they were unaware of this non return as they don't look into things and by default rule against the seller.

I was blazing to say the least, I rang and was completely rude, angry, blunt, etc, ended up ebay refunded me as well, so at least I got paid, I took this as an admission of blame on ebays part
