Just a quick question about the vote in 2014.

Does anybody know if ALL Scottish born people get a vote or is it restricted to only people that live in Scotland?

Reason I ask is I'm from Scotland and so is my family but have always considered myself as British and only British. I have lived in England for 32 years. Now if Scotland chooses to be independent I will loose my British nationality and effectively become a Scottish national living in a foreign country. At least that's what I think would happen. Therefore I think that ALL Scottish born people should get a vote, as it does affect them.

I realise that the Independence vote is a contentious issue so please keep the replies relevant to my question.

An independant Scotland is a stupid idea!! ( for many of the reasons already mentioned in this thread ). Now IMO if we had a potential leader with some balls and a genuine blueprint for success then maybe it would be a good idea. Sadly as it stands all we have is a deluded fantasy dreamt up by some small minded arsehole who i wouldn't let run a coach trip to blackpool never mind the country!!!!
