Changing belts

How the f$#k do you unloosen/adjust the power steering belt so i can get it off to replace the alternator belt, am ready to take large hammer to it! Have loosened the 2 bolts on the tensioner arm and the slide adjuster bolt thingy

    A big lump of wood and a hammer mate :) Either that or cut the belt.

     

    Just to add; copious amounts of wd40 around the pivot bolt should help a bit as well.
