Adrian Flux are a shocking company never had a good deal off them in my life. Sky insurance are better but even they are crooks aswell

they are all crooks but you would think they would have a brain i have 4 vecicles in my house and not 1 will ever be insured with them nomatter how cheap they were !!

right then,

daily drive, so:

1 - 18000 miles pa

2 - alloys, spoiler, bumper, exhaust.

3 - 91 tt

4 - 1 conviction for speeding (clean for 18 years aside from that)

5 - 53 ( but don't act it.. lol.. still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!!)

adrina flux are quoting me £550

my problem... finding another company to insure with high mileage.

Thats not too bad mate, im 39, full no claims, no convictions, 5000 miles and I paid £400 with mods declared.

went with AF because I was struggling to find anybody else who would touch the car, including the usual candidates usually listed...

Im hoping this changes as I wont be keeping the zed if the insurance keeps rising;

daily is 56 plate 530d msport, mapped to 292, 25000 business miles £302.. How does that work?

AF have never given me a decent price. They are always miles out for me. I like Sky insurance and A-Plan

INSURANCE GOOFA

Datascan, Conzult, ECUTalk and a few others

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

yeah, I don't know, these insurance companies have strange formulas for working it out...

when they ask you all the questions you assume it's because they are tailoring the quote to you but really its based on a few thinks that are strange...

post code & occupation are big ones and they are based on statistics... nothing really to do with you!!! :smash:

the world is controlled by accountants and auditors, that is why it's in such a mess!!! LOL...

anyway I'm still looking for someone that will give me a better rate...

My adrian flux quote was £900, thats mods listed, but only 2000 mile a year!!!! So I'm now with sureterm direct, same details, but now only £170 and with breakdown cover (which is £45). Bit of a difference!!!!!! Does make you wonder why they dont use the same methods for quoting?????

owned a 300zx since 2009, first quote with AF was 4400 that was when i first got my very first zed, it had no mods on it, jap import N/A, when i got my blue zed (5th zed) last year, i thought id have a laugh and see, by that point id done 2 years of driving using a 300zx pretty much as a daily driver with no claims while using the 300, this time it was a UK spec twinturbo with mods declared, quote = 3400, after speaking on the phone with them, they got the quote down to 1900, bearing in mind i was 34 at the time with the use of a garage.

Personally i think they like to over price people so they don't have to insure them, ive been with lynbrook since owning a 300zx, ive always paid a set £330, which actually went down after being in a no fault incident, ive never had a decent quote from AF ever.

I pay about £950 for both my daily (2003 Renault Laguna 1.9 diesel, standard other than a double DIN sat nav and rear parking sensors, 10,000 per year) and my Zed (1993 TT import, 2,000 miles per year, all mods declared).

And I'm only 23, with 5 years no claims! The benefits of an Admiral multi car policy :)

Mines £187 fully comp 33 years young, 3points and 5kmiles per annum with european breakdown cover
