looking round the net seems some cars have the ful set and some cars cant fit the power steering and alternator pulley what going on . I have no kit yet but seem like most don't seem to fit ?

The shaft on the alternator is to small but the pulley was the same size outside so just left standard alternator pulley.

The power steering seems ok but my power steering had 2 rib belt electronic hicas...and new pulley had 3, and the power steering belt is to big so I need to go car shop and buy a smaller belt...

The mark for the crank is in the right place on mine, a lot of people said check that but mine is right...

strange isn't it as its a kit made by a well know company, so some bits fit and others don't. I had the old hicas so mite be ok for the 3 ribs. but odd the belt is to long isn't it I wonder if there was a slight change in distance what years is you car

if you read this whole thread you can see the guy couldn't fit both pulleys

The pulleys are smaller so belt is to big, I read thread but could not find why power steering didn't fit.

I see you are talking about you old belts I was talking about the kit there are 4 pullleys as am sure you know and 3 new belts

This is mine fitted, need a belt to fit power steering and had to use original alternator pulley which u can just see...

I see so the kit with 3 bets the 3rd is for the aircon then so you are just needing 2 belts.

wonder why draxan couldn't fit the power steering but you have on yours

Unless the pumps are different mine is electric hicas so I think its the same has an na pump...

hmmm so maybe that's that's it then na and tt have a diff shaft size on them

Hopefully he will let us know, unless he didn't get the belts and thinks it doesn't fit cause the belts to big...

Looks like they are different then, looks like his got his water pump pulley round the wrong way,

Hopefully he knows...

the n/ a water pump pulley has more holes in it that the tt one. you must have a na alternator pully or a early year one that's why it didnt fit. what year is your car terry

i try to answer all Your questions tommorow mates, now im half dead and my brain is out of service ;)

My car is a 90 but I bought a 94 car but ended up going looking at a few shells with no rust and got the one i have now from sussex stu, no rust inside or out and no welding all original so used that shell but the engine and power steering and alternator etc came from the 94 car....

I see that's it then isn't it the years spindle size changed they list 2 lots
