Could some fine upstanding person tell me a little about the flare that is standard fitment to Jap imports. How it functions/ how long it lasts (both inevitabilities of life time and scope)/ possible replacements/ harmful side effects/ basic aplication etc.

I would love to be enlightened on the subject. thanks in advance..S.

I have one and its a nice original feature of the JDM cars. However I've been through all this before and the general concensus is that a 20 year old flare is only fit for the bin.

mines much younger than that. ( a thousand thankyou's for such a rapid responce by the way)

Your flare will have the date of your vehicle stamped on it, so they should marry up :cool3:

 

Mine does, love it and in the car it is a staying!!
