saw on fb that my dad had a job yesterday of driving a BMW M6 ( im sure thats what it was) had to drive it for 1200 miles so was taking it to scotland and back, well just seen his status and hes currently waiting at crewe station for a train home because the oil pump went on the car and now apparently needs a new engine! oh dear he only managed 750 miles!

this was the car anyway (the silver one)

Oh Dear!!! A brand new BM!!! HA,HA ,My mate test drove a new Aston with 25miles and the gearbox blew up!!!! I`ll stick with me Zed ;)...... I do like the new 6 series though ;)

There is a recall in progress in the USA that covers the M6 and M5 (MY2013 but built between July & September 2012). Apparently there is a production fault in the oil pump ... However, the documentation clearly states it only concerns US cars and not UK and/or European cars ... Perhaps the problem is wider spread than BMW is acknowledging at the moment ...

Lovely cars though :)
