AFR gauge install, help please.

I am installing 3 drift iridium gauges below the radio. I am having trouble getting the sensor wires through the firewall, I have the boost one through and it doesn't leave space for the other two. I think I can see an O2 sensor just behind the turbo in the top of the exhaust, I have to intercept the signal between that and the ecu. I suppose this can be done in the footwell can anyone advise me.

From what I know it is not a wideband so it is a... Narrowband? And I realise it will be afr on one side only. The oil temp should be easy enough, any more advice on getting through that bloody firewall would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom.

Ive ran in to a similar problem, on my blue zed (auto) the grommet where the accelerator cable comes through was used for the gauges, on the black one, you cant use that, its a factory manual and there seems to be a plate in the way on the inside drivers foot well stopping me using it, and engine bay side the rest of the clutch vacuum is in the way.

How ever, this is behind the carpet in the drivers foot well behind the clutch / break area, there is a rubber grommet, comes out almost near the steering rack exit through the firewall, thats been used this time, which isnt the best option as its close to the turbos (though would probably be better for you) and you cant get your hand down there to retrieve any wires, you need to jack the car up and get to it from the underside.

Ill be trying to route my power cable for my boot install soon, so will get some photos when i start stripping it all back

Great thanks for that I have all 3 through the firewall now. The boost gauge works a treat and I've ordered an oil filter sandwich plate to get oil going and I'll do afr when I can.

BUT! It is showing 17.5psi. That's a bit high right, a few months ago Jeff at zedworld set it to 13.5. Would my Selin twin filter and Hardpipes I've installed add that much to it? Will it die on standard turbos internals and injectors? A bit worried.

that wouldnt be good for it, and you shouldnt see gains that high from what you've installed i dont think. Aftermarket boost controller fitted? if so, it may need to re-learn (see the manual) now you've changed the conditions its been working under.

Take the O2 feeds from the ecu loom in the passenger footwell. Pin 55 for left hand and 29 for the right hand one. If you run them to an on-off-on toggle switch you can then switch between both banks on the gauge.

That steams, is a class idea. I'll pull the bugger back through then lol. It doesn't have a boost controller I don't think as there is no little electric box inside anywhere and I can't change it. I didn't ask at the time and I am learning as I go here so he must have used boost jets??? What I will do is get the afr going and see where I'm at, if it's lean rather than turn it down I will lift my right foot a bit and buy some injectors, onward and upwards :-)

And possibly a boost controller.
