Bloody hell thats new!!!

Yeh, they sneaked that one in quietly ;(

Its an optional charge....either you the sender pay it or the receiver pays it

no it's not new... always get charged if you don't have the money in the account...

gift is only free if you already have funds in papal.... I've been changed for sending via gift for years now.. (I don't keep funds in there, why should they get the interest since they charge enough already).. :)

I remember someone here saying something like you can only send money as a gift if you have it in your paypal account, if it's coming off a card you get charged. Don't know if that's right or not though
