right, here is your chance to see if we can improve on this years JAE, for next year.

If you have a issue with something this year, please but it down here, but be constructive about it, don't just say "i didn't like blah blah" with out saying what you would do to improve it.

All ideas will be considered.

should of borrowed Andy Isherwoods pint glass lol

ewww.

Well so far, im liking the F1 simulator, could charge £2 a go for other club stand members, to help cover the cost depending on what that is, i shall ring and find out tomorrow.

Also liking the idea of the portaloo, but ive seen this before at a major airsoft event, where we hired a portaloo and everyone decided to use it as it was closer than the official ones, this then ended up being a stinking mess that no one wanted near them lol

the bar idea is a good one and something we can do our selves rather than having to hire one in, we could also all chip in for the booze for it.

we need something else though, and also more members to attend, i think that is the key here.

Next year im not going to order as much food i know that, last year we couldnt get people away from the BBQ and we had people moaning about the food, this year everyone loved the food, but no one wanted to be near the BBQ

I think next year, we will supply a breakfast type deal but the BBQ will be there for people who really want to bring there own food to cook.

Im going to get some new cooking utensils as well, the ones we have from the club seem to be odd and not very suited.

The BBQ is getting a damn good clean as well, i cleaned it but it still didn't want to light all the burners fully, then just set light to its self.

I will be looking at getting a small fridge, something cheap and local even if its second hand, so we can store the food on site rather than me having to go out to get supplies, i was hoping for something bigger than the fridge we got this year.

I have already asked fuggles for the marquee / tables / chairs booking form for next year, i want to get that sorted out as soon as possible, also looking to get the marquee on more level ground, will be heading over to wicksteed this week to take a look at our plot and figure out the best place to put it so we are more level

i think a bigger marquee vods, and as for the food this year those burgers was munch!!! i think people just felt awkward helping themselves so waited for someone else to start cooking, so maybe designate a chef for breakfast and one for evening so its not all down to one person but chef to make everyone aware they are cooking and if people want to eat speak up lol

with the bar thing!! sell bar vouchers prior to the event ie) £20 gets you vouchers then you can use the vouchers to purchase beer spirits

the benifit is with this is limited cash on site and a comitment from the member to turn up,but you can pass on cheap beer and spirits because

A - you have the money in advance

B you wont be left with loads of booze at the end

C will give you the option to get more booze if it runs out

Well i started doing it, then jeff (not jeffTT lol) said he would do it but kept buggering off, groover did it at one point and so did rata2ie.

We had a marquee twice the size of that last year, but no one wanted to be in it, the good thing about the small one, was we could open the sides or close them, the biggest problem was the round tables but we didnt really get a choice in that, it was either them or nothing.

and yes the burgers were awesome.

im not sure if it was "felt awkward" about cooking, it was more like, no one wanted to start just incase they got roped into cooking for others, we didnt have the same problem last year, people just went for it lol

well i dont mind doing the cooking but everyone eats at their own risk lol but with different utensils those pincher things were huge lmao

didnt realise those werent the normal size tables that you usually have so if the tables are smaller and there is going to be outside entertainment then its probably the right size

I really don't see the point in a bar / beer vouchers myself. Its cheap enough to buy a slab and bring it yourself...plus your not limited to the popular crap most people drink (i.e Stella and Carling) Plus it costs lots to get to JAE and ticket entry is expensive for what you get so I wouldn't be that happy paying any more for extra stuff on our stand.... the club has more than enough of a healthy balance to put on a good show for the members

Agree with Nicci and Dean..

More than happy to help with the cooking next year, could easily knock up a paella or a chilli curry etc??

have a chilli cook off, and five judges, ( make sure there is plenty of cold water and put the loo roll in the fridge ) this can be done with other clubs entering also ....

use fluorescent paint and black lights to make the 300zx pitch bang out at night, ,cheap and effective

fluorescent face / body paint is readily available as well .

If we brought a microwave then everybody could bring a microwaveable teddy for in their sleeping bag n be all snuggly instead of freezing our socks off!!

I find that having the correct sleeping bag tog (or in my case a quilt lol) works wonders and you end up striping off by morning as you are too hot lol

No need to brag about your 63 tog feather down - my sleeping bag was -3.5 tog....completely useless :taz:

You defo need to go mate and I like the idea of a bull ride I was on one in Lanzarote great fun lol

I did one in Portugal! Its a brilliant laugh and you dont care that you look like a knob when you fall off because the speed you go on it, nobody lasts!! lol

well if i'd known you'd stripped off...... lol ;)

agree with the sleeping bag tho, our ones were thick and i wasnt cold at all through the night

and i would love a go on the bull ride thing, wonder if all the years of riding nutty horses would pay off

Sleeping bags were warm but I was still cold on the second night i'm bringing a ski suit as well as a thick sleeping bag next year.
