changing the brakes

My brakes are worn so was going to put in new pads . But i took the two pins out and the the spring but which bolts do i undo to left the caliper up so i can replace the pads. As i have not done this before the car is a M reg thanks:huh:

I took the two pins out and the spring/plate on top. Are you saying just tap the old brake pad

from the bottom and they come out. now that sounds easy lol

That's right mate, just tap them out. One thing though; If you need to push a piston back in make sure you undo the bleed nipple first. Otherwise the back pressure can pop the seals in the brake master cylinder.

BIG thanks to mark ans steams .. Brakes all fitted just have a clicking noise when i press the break peddle when pumping them but no sound when driving. could this be the piston re setting
