windscreen scratch removal

has anybody here ever had scratch repair done to your windscreen i have minor wiperblade scratches that i need to get removed and tied between repair or replace at the mo

    you can get minor surface scratches out with jewelers rouge - however if it is any more than just a surface mark it will end up distorting the glass & will look odd when you look through it!
