Hi folks
Another day, another problem!
Yesterday I fitted my speedo converter, with the help of these forums, and everything seemed okay. I went for a few short drives, played with all the switches and buttons on the dash and declared the job well done.
When I got back from the pub last night I sat in front of my house and decided to play with the lights, and make sure they all checked out okay. I was turning them on and off, getting out, checking the bulbs and stuff, when suddenly I lost all power to the whole car. I got back in and shut the door, and all the power came back for about 2 minutes, then went again. The car is totally dead, and I had left the window open XD .
So thats the story. The car seems to have no power to anything at all, not the lights, dash, stereo, interior lights, alarm or anything. After fitting the speedo converter yesterday the car was running perfectly all day until this happened.
My first check will be the battery of course, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to proceed from there, as I have the feeling the battery will be fine.
Cheers
John
