Why's my zed slow or is it me?

Hmmm..here goes. Recently my zed is beginning to feel real slow. Now I know my rear shocks need replacing and I'm thinking of upgrading ( standard Jap import auto). Hoping to get a mongoose, Blitz filter and a chip upgrade with Jeff very soon.

What HP gains will I get from these mods and will it be noticeable with acco and mid range?

Also apart from chip, safest and best way to get a little more boost without screwing the turbo's?

Reason I say this is that the boost seems okay on stock gauge but that's not reliable as we all know, gearchange okay...but she just don't feel quick like she used to. Okay maybe used to it now after owning it 18 months but I got pissed when a Renault 5 GT Turbo whizzed by me only yesterday and my car just struggled to keep up..even with power on! Okay he may be a pocket rocket souped up but I hate boy racers! Hehe... Help!
